About your job
In this position, you lead and support the financial team, consisting of business and financial controllers, as well as accounting, by promoting the Sandvik Way and acting as a role model. You develop our ways of working with the short and long-term financial health of our Swedish operations as well as the entity through guidelines, training, collaboration, and sharing best practices - suggesting improvements to make sure we're well equipped for the future.
You have the ability to lead and drive strategic questions cross-functionally and are playing an instrumental part in our transformation towards a more data driven and process-oriented business. You proactively drive and develop processes such as accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, treasury, credit, and collections. Supporting compliance and risk management processes, you act for an efficient financial internal control system to mitigate and control risks, as well as safeguarding the integrity of financial processes.
Business support and performance management are important parts of the job - challenging and optimizing our business performance by giving efficient, reliable, and proactive financial support and taking an active part in business decisions. By working closely with your stakeholders, you transfer your financial knowledge and promote ownership of both numbers and performance - making numbers talk by communicating relevant financial analysis and implications.
You're a valued member of the management team of our Swedish Operations organization, and you report to the Head of Production Units Sweden. This position is based at our site in Sandviken.
About you
We're looking for a confident leader with several years' experience in finance and business controlling, with focus on both people and results - someone with a systematic working style, who easily balances operational and strategic topics. You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and are skilled in Office 365 and ERP systems, preferably SAP, OneStream, and Power BI. Acting in a global environment calls for fluency in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
You're a passionate and encouraging leader, and development, involvement, and endurance are winning keys in this role. You strive for high quality and great results, and you're excellent at prioritizing and making decisions, as well as in challenging us to look at new perspectives.
