The Trade Compliance team enable Axis to import and export products worldwide, always adhering to laws and regulations and striving to minimize import and export costs.
We are now looking for an Export Control Advisor to join our team at our head quarter in Lund, Sweden. Come join our team and contribute to a smarter and safter world!
Who is your future team?
We are a high performing diverse team consisting of ten skilled persons with different age, gender, nationality, knowledge, and background. The combination makes us strong and add flavor and joy to our workplace.
Three persons focus on Export Compliance, ensuring that Axis comply with Export Control regulations worldwide and that our high-tech products are not supplied to restricted countries, parties, or users. The other persons focus on Customs Compliance, securing that import and export activities are performed in a compliant and efficient manner and customs costs are minimized. Your focus will be on Export Compliance.
What you will do as Export Control Advisor:
You will work closely with Axis Legal department, R&D, Sourcing, Order and Sales in the different regions to secure that we are complying with EU and US Export Control legislations, embargoes, and sanctions. You will also contribute to continues development of IT tools to make our daily work as efficient as possible. Below are examples of task, within the Axis Export Compliance team:
* Serve as primary point of contact for Export Control matters.
* Responsibility for ECCN classification of commodities under both EU and US legislation.
* Gather required information and submit export license applications and determinations.
* Conduct daily restricted party screenings.
* Develop and improve processes concerning Export Control both global and regional, including defining business requirements for IT tool development.
* Define and conduct Export Compliance internal audits within Axis group.
* Meet with Customs and Export Control Authorities where needed and represent Axis.
* Participate in Export Compliance training seminars and conferences, as well as giving internal trainings within the company.

You wish to contribute and interact on a global level and be a part of an ambitious team where we make things happen!
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* Several years' experience of Export Control (EU, US legislation) and International Trade.
* Detailed knowledge about, ECCN, Restricted Party Screening, Embargo, Sanctions, and more...
* Experience from supply chains demanding ISP and/or BIS export licenses.
* Experience working in a global business environment.
* Communicative skills and enjoy interacting and collaborating with different people and cultures.
* Certified via trainings in Export Control Management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with working in ERP systems.
* Project leading experience.
