Volvo Trucks - Europe South & West Sales Area
We are looking for a new member to join our team as Executive Assistant at Volvo Trucks for Europe South & West Sales Area.
Volvo Truck Europe South & West consists of four major market companies; Italy, UK, Spain, and France, along with our Private Importer markets; Portugal, Israel, Greece and Palestine. Together they form a sales area that is a substantial part of Volvo Trucks and the possibility to work in an exciting and diverse environment.
The purpose of our sales area is to enabling delivery on our shared strategy by supplying resources, removing barriers, and sharing best practices in order we reach outstanding performance and create a great experience for our colleagues & customers. Our leadership team works with high drive, building strong partnerships based on trust and support for each other.
In this role you report directly to the SVP and play a key part in the success of the leadership team. You will have an opportunity to work with all our stakeholders and really be immersed in and gain an understanding of our business and markets. You will also take an active part in the VT Executive Assistant network to share best practice and continue your professional development.
Main priorities:
Responsibilities for this position include proactive ownership of a busy executive calendar, the ability to coordinate complex meetings and projects by working directly with key stakeholders and compiling and organizing high volumes of information.
Managing the SVP's inbox, you will ensure prioritization and effective organization of time. This will require supporting in reading & routing correspondence, as well as researching, drafting presentations, letters, etc.
Together with SVP, you will plan and coordinate market visits, internal/external events, customer/visitor coordination while collecting and consolidating briefing and presentation materials for these activities.
Communicate with our other stakeholders such as Regional Value Chain functions to co-ordinate inputs for our business agendas & projects.
Manage travel planning and bookings connected to strategic activity for the executive management team.
Work with Internal Communication when needed for SVP's messages in newsletters, live sessions, emails and townhalls.
Be a partner, drive and develop administrative effectiveness to support the executive management team members in order we optimize team meetings/work schedules & strategic cycle.
Plan, coordinate and assist to deliver virtual/live meetings and events.
Qualifications/Experience likely required to be successful
Developed interpersonal skills & networking ability
Strong Organizational Skills, with the ability to plan ahead & manage time effectively
Experience with working closely with senior executive leadership teams, and external high-profile stakeholders in a multicultural environment is a plus
Highly competent in digital & IT tools, including Office 365, EBD, SAP
Service-minded, ability to manage national and international stakeholders with a proactive approach.
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Work in accordance with the Volvo Group processes, the Code of Conduct and the Volvo Group Values
