Nasdaq's Nordic Business Support team is currently looking for an Event and Sales Coordinator to join our team for a 1-year plus contract. You will sit in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus, in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen.

About the team, role and responsibilities

The Nordic Business Support team is a unit within Nasdaq's Nordic listings team, and provides sales support when new companies are in the process of being listed on the Nasdaq Main Market and on Nasdaq First North. The team also supports the Client Executives with their existing client relationships, and works on initiatives to further enhance and promote the Nordic listings business.

As the Event and Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for making sure all ends meet in the heat of the moment. Your workday will be versatile, high and low, from administration to event planning and you will get exposure to different departments such as Communications and Issuer Surveillance. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Plan and own listing ceremonies and visibility around new listings.
• Event planning and managing own and sponsored events.
• Managing client newsletters, email campaigns and invitations.
• Creating social media and web content.
• Prepare sales presentations in PowerPoint and other sales materials.
• Customer support such as provide customer quotes, product training and financing.
• You will also be involved in longer term projects and initiatives to improve our business.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

• Education Required: Degree qualified in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Experience Required: At least 1 year
• Have a general understanding of the listings business.

This is a temporary contract filling in for a parental leave. The preferred start date is late May 2016, and the contract will run through July-August 2017.
