The Radio Design unit is responsible for developing various products within the WCDMA standard. The responsibility includes design, verification and manufacturing preparations. We are deeply involved in radio predevelopment within the WCDMA and LTE, Long Term evolution which is the next mobile network standard. We support Ericssons customers with maintenance of our previous designs.
Job description
Do you get a kick out of bringing technology to the next level? We are looking for one more engineer to join the team for taking our Radio Measurement Environment forward. Together with your team, you will improve the test environment and implement new features that are requested by the internal projects within Ericsson. You will also be a part of the projects helping them with design and verification in the lab. The Measurement Environment is written in LabView with an object oriented addition, GOOP. Our design group consists of radio designers and we are constantly working with a number of projects. The projects vary in size and scope and the measurement environment must therefore be extremely flexible and adjustable to new conditions.
Qualifications and competence
If you are a software or radio designer with a positive attitude and with experience in object-oriented programming, this is a challenging job for you.
Required competence:
• M.Sc./B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Electrical * Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in Object-oriented programming
• Interest in radio design and hardware development
• Self-motivated with a strong drive
Competence in the following areas is also desirable:
• Experience in LabView-based programming
• Theoretical or practical experience with radio and microwave design
• Experience in usage of oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and signal generators
You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
