One member of our English Department is ending his position and we are looking for an English teacher for the start of the spring term in January 2009.
Brief description of the company:
The International English School in Eskilstuna is an independent school with students in Grades 6 – 9. The school is housed in a charming historical building close to the centre of town and the railway station. Half of the tuition is done in English and the remainder in Swedish. Description of qualifications
We are looking for a qualified English Teacher (Grades 6 – 9), who is enthusiastic about the subject and education. It is important that you are English speaking, native, since the subject is taught in English.
You must have a genuine interest in the students and their development and we welcome previous experience from a similar position. You must be a team player willing to cooperate with others and have an outgoing personality. A sense of humour and willingness to go the extra mile is essential. Clearance from the police register is essential to be considered for the post.
Conditions of employment
One year contract, commencing January 2009. There is a six month probation period.
Remuneration: Fixed salary for the teaching and mentor responsibility. Additional compensation for department head responsibility.
