We are looking for an engineer to a group which is responsible for calculations and testing. Your work place will be in Södertälje (Sweden).
The work includes FEM modulations and simulation of buses and parts of them. With focus on safety issues such as rollover protection, safety belts and crash protection. The work is usually based from CATIA models processed into functional calculations with any tool, for example ABACUS, IDEAS, ANSA. Evaluation of simulations and reporting is also included in the tasks. These reports are used for certification.
The work is done in close collaboration with other design teams, sourcing and suppliers.
You have an employment background in computing engineer or designer, specialized in vehicles. Experience of deformation simulations are meritorious. To fit for this job, we believe you are methodical and systematical and have an interest in optimizing the whole. You have the ability to work independently but have an interest of a large network to get and give information to others.
You have an engineering exam with computational approach. CAD experience, preferably from CATIA, is an advantage. Experience in measurement and data handling are valuable. Driving license B (car) and D (bus) is an advantage.
