With a focus on connectivity, our OTC program spans cloud and gateway development, operations, and support, uniting industrial equipment seamlessly. Currently, our IoT-platform boasts a substantial client base and 15+ persons working with Nederman OTC. What you will do
As our new Embedded Linux Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing our on-premises edge computing solutions. The product you will be working on is designed to handle all collection, saving and visualization of data on machines. The edge computer also sends data to cloud solutions and provides the same data to other consumers on-site through fieldbus protocols and others. The applications are packaged and managed as Docker containers, with different containers dedicated to data collection, storage, and web servers for data visualization.
We currently use C/C++, Python and C# in our stack, but we're transitioning to Rust to bring our next-generation platform to life. Down the road, we're excited to integrate machine learning models for predictive analytics-helping our clients stay one step ahead by solving problems before they even happen. Your main tasks will include:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.
Future development that will include integrating machine learning for predictive analytics
Develop Docker containers for data collection, storage, and web servers
Work with Yocto and Buildroot to create and customize Linux distributions for our edge devices, while also developing and maintaining Linux-based systems.
To ensure seamless data transmission to cloud solutions and clients through APIs
Engage in new development initiatives to enhance our edge computing solutions.
