Are you a person with excellent communication skills and with proven experience in electronics design, testing, or repair? Now, we're looking for a Repair Management Engineer to join our Reverse Supply Chain team at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden, is that you?

Your future team
You will join a tight-knit team of seven in the Repair Management Operations department, which is part of our Reverse Supply Chain organization comprising 25 people. We work with 17 global partners who handle the physical repairs, as well as electronic manufacturing suppliers for more advanced repairs that require specialized tools and fixtures used in forward production. The Reverse Supply Chain team ensures excellent customer service by managing returns and repairs in the aftermarket, maintaining a smarter, safer and more sustainable world. Axis products are renowned for their high-tech electronics and innovative designs, but even the most robust systems require maintenance. When an issue arises, it's your team's job to ensure the repair process runs smoothly.

What you will do as a Repair Management Operations Engineer
As a Repair Management Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in our product projects, managing repair operations with our global partners, and taking charge of the technical handling within the Reverse Supply Chain organization. Your involvement will stretch from concept review to product end-of-support. This is a unique opportunity to work broadly over the organization since the responsibility is to act as the interface between R&D and Aftermarket. Your mission is to secure availability of repair manuals, repair parts and troubleshooting guides as well as test systems. You will work closely with our partners to ensure all returned units are brought back to their original specifications, while also driving improvements in repairability and efficiency. In this role you will:

* Be part of R&D product projects and responsible for repair strategies from concept through end-of-support.
* Collaborate with project engineers to develop repair manuals and troubleshooting guides.
* Enable testing and calibration at partner sites
* Analyze return data and make decisions on cost-efficient repairs and part purchases (mechanical and electronic).
* Act as technical support for partners and suppliers, setting up the necessary technical environments and providing on-site training.
* Travel 10-15 days per year to visit partners and suppliers.

We love for you to have:

* A bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on electronics.
* Proven experience in electronics design, testing, or repair.
* Knowledge of electronics production processes and test systems.
* Experience with project management and leading technical initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (and Swedish or a strong desire to learn).
* Advanced computer skills, including Windows, MS Office, and proficiency in Excel (especially pivot tables for data analysis).
