The company develops control technology solutions and manufactures a broad line of pre-programmed universal remote control products, embedded hardware and software, and audio-video (AV) accessories that enhance and simplify the home entertainment experience.
At the location in Enschede (The Netherlands) our client offers a career opportunity for an Electrical Lead Engineer (ELE). The ELE will work primarily with the application engineering team to understand customer product requirements and determine the optimum system architecture solution. The ELE will then create the system block diagrams. The ELE will take ownership of transforming the system block diagrams into detailed electrical schematics and creating the electrical BOM (Bill Of Materials). These preliminary BOM's will be used for electrical costing in order to respond to customer RFQ's. In addition to RFQ activities you will interface with the global product development teams (EE, ME and SW) to assist in system bring up and interoperability troubleshooting efforts.
The Electrical Lead Engineer works in a cross functional team and reports to the Senior Director of Electrical Engineering in the USA with daily tasks coming from the Product Team in Europe.
