Job Description
Your contribution to something big
Design and specify cable layout in heat pumps
Produce electrical schematics
Install heat pumps in a lab environment, perform tests and write reports
Build samples
Implementation of electrical requirements according to safety, legal, functional and cost requirements
Carry out electrical testing based on internal and external requirements such as leakage current, temperature, ground continuity, high voltage, lifetime, IP etc
Perform EMC tests internally, conducted emissions, harmonics, burst, surge, ESD etc.
Participate in external third party testing of heat pumps and accessories
Support other departments with analysis and troubleshooting of different electrical problems
Take part in and drive FMEA and 8D problem solving
Qualifications
What distinguishes you
Required skills
Expertise in electrical CAD software and dimensioning
Knowledge in EN and IEC standards and interpretation of standards
Electrical testing and troubleshooting
Experience in EMC testing and troubleshooting on an appliance level
Experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) software
Practical knowledge in using tools for building samples
Problem solving mindset
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (due to our international working environment)
Preferred skills
Certified electrician
Deep knowledge in IEC 60335 and product certification topics
Experience in AutoCAD Electrical and Siemens NX
Experience in SAP
Experience in plumbing and hydraulics
