Mustadfors Bruk, the leading manufacturer of Horseshoe Nails, is growing. We are currently consolidating the worldwide production of Nails in Sweden and creating a center of excellence for Nails. With a turnover of 150 Ksek and 70 employees there is still a potential of growth why we need a result oriented, highly motivated and well organized Finance Manager for employment in Dals Långed.
Responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of accounting and finance operations. Will oversee all daily operations, reporting, planning, and inventory control. Must have the ability to be "hands on" in all aspects of finance operations. This position reports hierarchically to the General Manager in Sweden and functionally to the Controller EMEA in Switzerland.
Responsibilities include:
• Planning, developing and implementing all effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures;
• Oversee the preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operating reports and provide comprehensive analysis. Compile and deliver sound economic financial plan for both short-term and long-term range forecasts.
• Analyze and monitor sales, revenue, inventory, operating expenses, capital expenditures, headcount and other key performance metrics to ensure achievement of annual budget and optimization of financial results.
• Support enhancement efforts to ensure and/or improve data integrity, accuracy, and process efficiency
• Support EMEA Controller in driving group finance strategy
• Overseeing daily operations and administrative functions for the Accounting Department; Supervise a staff.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination across functional department in Sweden and with Group Finance;
• Establish and maintain effective business relations with vendors, outside auditors, regulators, banks, insurance
• Tax filings/reporting, maintain adequate documentation of the transfer prices policy
• Manage and interact with outside professionals including audit, legal, and ERP consulting firms.
Education:
BA/BS in Accounting required,
• Technical Skills and Prior Experience
Audit experience ideally complemented by a few years progressive accounting experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area within a manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Results oriented, highly motivated, organized and skilled at time management
• Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Experience with Microsoft Navision Dynamics or other large automated accounting system preferred. Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills are a must.
