Who you are

You also have ability to challenge your colleagues and dare to try new things!
For this role it's important that you have 2-3 years leadership experience with a good track record and great experience of working with KPI: s. It is an advantage if you have experience of working in retail or similar customer meetings. To be relevant in this role, you need to be able to speak and write in both English and Swedish. The most important thing, however, is that you have a passion for people, share IKEA's values and lead through them in everyday life.
Your responsibilities
We see that the customer's expectations and behavior change at a rapid pace, and we are on a journey of change where you will be a driving force in meeting the customer's new expectations.
As an Easy Buying Manager, you will be responsible for improving the customers buying process within a multichannel environment, before, during and after their store visit. In close co-operation with other functions in the store you and your team develop the buying process with the strive to get it "first time right". You will also have a close co-operation with the other stores, Service Office and Customer Support Center.
Some of your main tasks will be:
• You will be department head of Customer Service and lead 10-15 co-workers.
• You will have clear goals and you are responsible for following up the results for your department and ensuring that you together reach the set goals.
• You will develop, improve and revise routines and working methods, you will follow up and develop your employees.
• You will work cross functional and together with other functions improve the customer experience, the buying process, waiting times and secure "first time right".
• You will be a part of the operation in which you interact with customers and help them in the return process, manage returns and complaints, book home delivery and hand out goods.
Our team within Ikea
The function consists of one functional manager with two department heads and about thirty co-workes that works together to ensure a positive and joyful experience for all IKEA visitors and customers.

You will work as one of two department heads in the Customer Experience function. You will be the department head at Customer Service and have personnel responsibility for about 10-15 co-workers.
This is a temporary employment during at least one year. The job includes 38.25 hours/week. You will work daytime, evenings and weekends. Start date as agreed.
