ABOUT US
Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with strategic and operational responsibility for the Group's properties and real estate assets as well as for facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities, owned and leased. We act as a center of expertise, generating economies of skill and scale in the real estate area. The Volvo Group values are our guiding stars in everything we do, e.g., develop an attractive workplace for the Volvo Group's employees worldwide. We have approximately 300 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
The Europe Division (EUD) manages Volvo Group's strategic sites located in Sweden, Belgium, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. We support the business with investments, construction projects, facility management, long- and short-term maintenance. Our team works closely with local stakeholders to provide work environments where people thrive every day. As trusted business partners, we strive to create value for our sites through innovation and continuous improvements.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Lean strategies, initiatives, and transformations across the global Group Real Estate organization.
Coach and mentor teams to embrace Lean principles and foster continuous improvement.
Identify process improvement opportunities and design Lean solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop Lean implementation plans and track progress.
Train employees on Lean methodologies and foster a culture of improvement.
Guide problem-solving efforts using Lean tools and techniques.
Stay updated on industry trends and enhance Lean capabilities.
WHO ARE YOU
We believe that you are an experienced Lean professional with a track record of leading transformations. You have a deep knowledge of Lean principles, methodologies, and tools. You are confident to act as facilitator, coach, and mentor. Other requirements are:
Proven success in improving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communicator and collaborator at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
