For our customer in the pharmaceutical industry we are now looking for a Physician with experience from Clinical Studies. The consultant assignment will start immediately and go on for 6 months with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2014-11-27Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Director Physician you will deliver the Medical Scientific strategies of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) to the project team.
You will be working with:
• responsible for the design, conduct, monitoring, data interpretation and reporting of individual clinical trials
• ensures project adhere to Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements
• responsible for acting as a renowned expert in own disease/drug field
• single point accountable leader for the design, delivery and interpretation of clinical studies
• ensuring the ethical and scientific integrity of the plans, studies and the product in compliance with GCP
• implementation of the medical strategy within Clinical Development globally
• evelop clinical evidence for functional relevance of targets in human disease
• support qualification of pharmacodynamic/disease markers for early assessment of efficacy
• ensure clinical input into the Translational Medicine and development strategies and plans
• receive adequate peer consultation to assure high scientific quality
• maintain a high degree of understanding and awareness on new and emerging medical development
• closely follow medical development within assigned areas and disseminates new information within Clinical Development
• write study synopsis
• medical lead for regulatory communication and preparation of higher level documents
• ensure internal and external peer review of potential study/programme design
• provide clinical strategic input to in-licensing opportunities
• line management responsibility for medical directors and medial scientists
• delivering the performance management and guiding the professional development of direct reports
You will have People Management Responsibility and the role operates in 2-3 other countries.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We think that you have graduate of a recognized school of medicine with an M.D. degree or equivalent and more than 5 years clinical research expertise in relevant therapy; Inflammation, particularly Rheumatoid Arthritis. A PhD in scientific discipline is desirable as well as an extensive general medical knowledge.
As a person you are an excellent communicator with excellent english and swedish written as well as spoken.
