About the position
As the Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) you are accountable for driving and developing the S&OP process for the business unit Global Pro. You will be the conductor for a team of department managers responsible for supply chain planning and execution. You will work in close collaboration with Sales management in Europe & Pacific, Operations management globally, Product Management and Finance. You will also work with S&OP organizations in other business units/divisions.
Your main tasks
Conduct and develop a team of department managers responsible for supply chain planning and execution in different areas of the supply chain
Define and deliver on action plans to ensure optimal forecast accuracy, service, inventory and cost levels for finished products, accessories and spare parts
Develop good working relationships and proactively communicate with Sales, Operations, Product Management and Finance leadership to secure alignment and that required actions to deliver our business plan are taken
Conduct the S&OP process delivering cross-functionally aligned and feasible demand and supply plans
Secure that product/component/capacity allocations, in case of shortages, are done proactively and are well aligned
Manage conflict resolution in optimizing for service, costs and inventory
Ensure and continuously improving process and oversee Root Cause Assays to ensure learnings are applied
Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting & business assays.
Who are you?
You are passionate about conducting a team. You have a proven track of building and managing teams from previous positions. You have the ability to develop relationships and managing internal stakeholders. You are a good communicator both orally and written with good negotiator skills. You have the ability to develop solutions to complex opportunities in a global cross-functional environment
You have expertise and track record in supply chain management for a seasonal business and expertise in S&OP/IBP processes is of advantage
• Master degree in relevant area
• Fluent English both orally and written
• Demonstrated working history within relevant area
Your personality in combination with relevant education, work experience and passion for working to develop teams will be important in order to succeed in this role.
