The Product and CTO Department is looking for a Director intended for the overall responsibility of Network Camera products from a Product Management perspective.
Your main challenge will be to organize, manage and lead the Product Management functions and to ensure a positive, collaborative and communicative work environment for the team and its colleagues. You will together with your strong and senior team of product managers, define future product strategies based on customer needs, competition and market analysis.
We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person with the ability to collaborate well within the own team as well as cross functionally with both internal and external customers. To fit in at Axis and in your role as Director of Product Management we believe that you have the abilities to lead your team in a rapidly changing environment. Duties, in short:
Overall responsible for Axis Network Camera product portfolio management, Including, portfolio planning, product planning, managing the products' life cycle, education & training and handling of complex support issues Have line manager responsibility of about 40 people, incl product managers, product specialists and product introduction managers To handle interfaces both internally such as R&D, Sales & Marketing and Operations as well as external customers and partners. Be the bearer of our company culture e.g. lead and develop strategies that support our Core Values and Brand Values
Professional Qualifications & Experience:
Effective team work and team building skills Excellent understanding of business and market dynamics 10+ years of business experience with demonstrated advanced leadership/management skills 5+ years of Product Management or related experience in IT, Surveillance or similar industry International working experience is a plus Combination of strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, and deep customer empathy are essential for this position A comprehensive understanding of product and project management practices Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
