Right now we are looking for a leader to the newly created department Electromobility. The new department has a huge impact on the future success of Volvo Penta in the new field of electromobility solutions and this position offers you excellent opportunities to use your own initiative in building the resources and competencies in this area.
Your focus areas will be
Management role. You will build a team of people with needed skills and competencies as well as taking responsibility for the development of working processes and practices within your area of responsibility in the quest for continuous improvement.
Technology development. Accelerate transformation towards new technologies within the field of electromobility solutions by contributing to the development of strategies and roadmaps. Successful collaboration across all functions in Volvo Penta as well as with other Volvo Group entities, external partners and most importantly our customers are key success factors in this role.
Member of the PD management team. The Product Development management team covers all core processes of Product Development, including Project management, Design, Verification & Validation, Documentation and Support processes. Each individual in the team has a great opportunity to influence the future of Volvo Penta.

Your qualifications
Leadership. You have responsibility over a team of high professionals. You are capable to build a plan for developing the new function and engage the team in building the necessary processes and skills to execute the plan.
Teamwork and collaborative spirit, to be able to build on the pool of knowledge and assets within Volvo Penta, the broader Volvo Group as well as external partners.
Curios technology and business scout, as we expect the successful candidate to bring relevant experience from similar transformation of technology and business.
