As part of a new team, we are now looking for a successful team leader with genuine interest in innovations, quick changes and the challenges that comes with it. A leader who will be responsible for the new team and ensure that its missions are executed properly. In this role, you will be responsible for a growing team of different skillsets ranging from junior software developers to senior external consultants.
You will be working extensively with the entire business as well as with end customers to support development of our future digital services and solutions. You will be responsible for actively driving digital innovation globally throughout the entire business, which will ensure that all of Atlas Copco have the right tools and prerequisites to do their job.
You will report to the Vice President IS/IT, and to the Digitalization & Innovation Board with senior executives. The team will be organized in a new bi-modal IS/IT landscape that Atlas Copco is implementing to speed up IS/IT initiatives in the areas of innovation, where the new team will fall in under the "Mode 2" environment to support our "Systems of innovation" layer (following the pace layered IS/IT landscape).
Main responsibilities:
As Team Leader Digital Innovation, your main responsibilities will be to:
• Establish and roll out the new Digital Innovations team in a bi-modal pace layered IS/IT landscape.
• Create and manage roadmaps and strategies for digital innovations.
• Execute activities in an agile DevOps approach.
• Actively try to identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient in all aspects of our business through digitalization.
• Have the main responsibility for ensuring facilitation of digital innovations for the company.
• Be an ambassador for digital innovation and inspire the company on ideas on how to make use of digitalization to drive new opportunities and challenges.
• Customer involvement in projects and initiatives related to digital innovations.
• Be active in adopting new technology trends and establish a network of cooperation with other companies of interest, universities, tech groups and meetups.
• Work together with HR to attract, on-board and retain diverse top talent and support in building new career paths for new roles in the company.
• Be responsible for your team's skills development and hold regular competency meetings, ensuring your team is in the forefront of competence development.
• Manage the structure, processes and delivery of available information in line with business strategies.
• Drive processes for the delivery of information, analytics platforms and various solutions to customers/users and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of its implementation.
• Combine data to increase synergy and other business value and quickly visualize what information matters most to the organization based on the defined business strategy.
• Always have security in mind so that we handle our information in a correct and secure way in close collaboration with our Security Manager and Integration Manager.
Educational requirements and experience:
• Knowledge in how to work with agile methodologies and project management.
• Understanding of bi-modal IS/IT landscapes and pace layered IS/IT.
• Experience from being part of software development teams, preferably with technology relating to cloud, web, mobile and API development as well as experience from QA testing and UX.
• Understanding of methodology and technologies used by start-up companies.
• Great understanding of integration technologies such as REST, SOAP and other API technologies.
• Application experience from mining is highly appreciated.
• Great understanding of how our business is set up and operates on a global scope.
• Solid general knowledge of business applications used in Atlas Copco and how they support business processes.
• Business area-, data/content-, and information process understanding.
• Fluent in English, both in writing and in speech.
Personality requirements:

• Strong leadership skills and result driven.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and lead by example.
• The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to both business and technical individuals, and have excellent presentation skills presented in a way that is easy to understand and adapt for a typical non-techie person.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks in a global environment.
• It is important that the candidate is perceived as service minded and with good customer orientation.
• You will be required to travel some 50-100 days both in Sweden and globally.
