So - what are we looking for in this specific role?
In your role, you will be responsible for the third level digital support function of our Energy Management Systems (EMS) that support the complex needs of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products in the rapidly evolving energy markets.

As such, you will
• Manage digital incidents and coordinate major digital incidents (P1 & P2) via email or phone, including analysis, categorization and prioritization of issues.
• Be responsible for building processes around the digital support.
• Manage budgeting and resource planning for SLAs.
• Based on the team's expertise and prior resolutions, you will create best practices and training materials for both your team as well as other teams inside and outside Volvo.
• Conduct trainings to transfer knowledge downstream.
• Identify problem areas and follow-up on resolutions, incl. root cause analysis and problem management.
• Document resolutions and create knowledge articles and suggest corrective actions to the development teams.
• Support the commissioning & post-commissioning processes surrounding our product installations.
• Plan maintenance activities such as security patches and commissioning of certificates.
• Submit requirements to application teams to improve processes and future resolutions.
• Support performance evaluation, create and follow up on KPIs.
• Be a communication focal point, collecting and distributing information on i.e. downtime both during planned maintenance activities and during outages and crisis.
• Be part of Volvo Energy extended crisis management and incident response teams

The position includes responsibility of support processes, and as such on-call availability during set support hours will be part of the agreement.

Qualifications likely required to be successful
• Experience developing IT support processes, working in support organizations and establishing SLAs.
• An IT or digital background, preferably with experience working in the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills combined with a drive to work with other people to solve problems.
• A strong interest in technology and a curiosity to always learn more.
• A "boots on the ground, get the job done" attitude.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• A strong bonus is to have knowledge in the areas of:
• Energy management systems (EMS) or electrical infrastructure
• OT Networks and Connectivity
• Building training materials and conducting trainings
• Cyber security, data management and modern integration technologies.
• University education relevant to the position: electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, Data, Informatics or equivalent.
