Job Responsibilities
As a designer, you will work both with practical problem-solving in dedicated cross-functional teams in various areas with different stakeholders, but also with product cost optimalization. With our global setup, we cooperate daily with all our Red Arrow Teams in Sweden, Brazil, Poland and China. In the team, you will become an important player in improving our products with the customer in mind to maintain the Scania quality and efficiency. You will take the design responsibility in the cross-functional team working with problem-solving, concept development and testing.
As a result of the variety of assignments, you can expect a large network of contacts all over Scania and a broad technical knowledge.
Who You Are
You have a technical education at university level. You have an interest in technology and you are curious to both broaden your technical skills and develop your leadership skills. You have an experience working as Design Engineer.
Communication is very important and we work daily with our cross-functional global teams, therefore we are looking for someone who thrives in an environment with many different cultures and is fluent in English.
You need to enjoy both working independently and collaborating with others.
As we work more and more with our electrified products knowledge in electrics HW/SW is meritorious.
This Is Us
The team is working with Product Follow up for Bus Chassis, both from a quality and cost improvement perspective. Our team is assigned to a wide range of assignments, that origins both from the end customer and internal customers at Scania. The team has a large network over Scania, as assignments require collaboration with functions all over Scania e.g. Purchasing, Sales & Marketing and Production. This Team is a driven and dynamic section, consisting of Designers and Assignment Managers, where employee well-being is a key factor.
