WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are now looking for creative and passionate Design Engineers to strengthen our Design Integration & Prototyping Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
To succeed in this role, you need a curious and creative attitude as well as a structured and well-organized mind-set.
You enjoy challenges and appreciate working in close collaboration with different stakeholders.
You have great communication skills, as well as ability to see the bigger picture to reach common goals. In addition, experience in both process engineering and product development towards consumer electronics, IoT or similar fields would be a merit.
As a Design Engineer at Exeger you will develop and validate integration concept in customer projects as well as develop and test future integration methods. You will work closely with our Electronics team to build prototypes and verify technology, use- case and integration along with working with integration and product innovation to build product road maps.
• Handle design documentation for product specification
• Perform feasibility, DFA, DFM studies
• Support our Sales team in customer meetings
• Design and develop products from concept to production, i.e., full lifecycle product development.
• Plan, assess project requirements, conceptualize, document and create mechanical designs for new products
• Support the work how to improve and implement new processes flow in PDM
• Support projects and deliver according to the product road map
• Supporting continuous improvement projects targeted to reduce waste, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing cycle time
• Work close with R&D and Design Dep to set up new design implementations methods and goals which correlates with the product roadmap
• Manage technical relationships with potential suppliers/vendors
• Support the QA team in developing relevant tests and standards
YOUR BACKGROUND
• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical, Design Engineering or equivalent
• A few years of experience working in a similar role
• SolidWorks experience
• PDM experience
• Problem solving techniques and methodical approaches
• If you have experience from a manufacturing environment and mechanical drawing standards it's a merit.
