Responsibilities
Build ETL pipelines that supports and combines several types of data sources.
Design data infrastructure that supports our data scientists in the quest of gaining valuable insights.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, software engineers, project managers to achieve elegant data integration solutions.
Provide recommendation regarding the long-term data strategy and architecture.
Core Skills
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical discipline.
In-depth SQL and NoSQL knowledge - queries, schema design etc.
Big data technologies - Spark, Hadoop, HIVE, etc.
Designing ETL pipelines.
Programming skills - Python, Java, Scala or similar.
Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform.
Operating systems and scripting - Linux, Windows, VMs.
Basic machine learning knowledge.
Of course, we assume excellent communication skills.
