We are looking for Data Engineer
In the Data Analytics team we create an analytics platform for internal data produced in various testing activities. As we're developing services in the forefront of analytics the individual need to have capability of doing research on available infrastructure solutions, perform in depth analysis and propose solutions on how to design the environment to have an efficient operation for analytics.
In the development phase expectations are to systemize, create state of the art code, use well established Dev Ops processes to secure quality such as CI/CD concepts, develop automation and test the product automatically.
We work according to Lean / Agile and have a team master, perform retrospectives, drive improvements and actively run back log grooming/break down of the tasks pulled by the team.
Methods, tools, processes, and culture must be followed.
Required competence
SW developer. The need in the role is pure design capability;
Design requirements
Architectural and implementation proposals
Coding
Code reviews
CI/CD concepts
Technical
Minimum 5 years experience working in key roles in agile software development projects
Strong Linux skills
Strong Python skills
Strong software development skills, including GIT and CI knowledge
Experience with containers, such as Docker or Kubernetes
Experience in some of the technologies we use; Kafka, Cassandra, Mesos, Ceph, Spark, AWS, SQL/ NoSQL DBs
Personal
Passion for Data and associated technologies
Individual who is enthusiastic about learning new cutting edge technologies, and is able to create clean production grade code.
Built in personality to share knowledge, educate the surrounding team to lift the competence constantly.
As a person driven and having a curios nature, thinking one step ahead to create new solutions and prevent future obstacles.
Good team player and communications skills
Bonus requirements
Experience as a Data Engineer or comparable positions
Experience with machine learning frameworks a bonus, such as TensorFlow, H20, Keras, pytorch.
Frontend development skills, such as react
Previous experience working with microservices
