Do you enjoy building and nurturing communities, and thrive in bringing people together to advance the use of data for impactful decision-making? If so, we want you to join our team as a Data Community Manager within the AI, Analytics & Data tech center.
In this key role, you'll take the lead in developing and growing a vibrant data analytics community across the organization, while creating and implementing engaging training programs tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities:
Training and Program Development:
• Collaborate closely with platform teams, data governance experts, business partners, and vendors to design and deliver effective onboarding content for the data analytics community.
• Create and update training programs, in partnership with subject matter experts, that help data analysts seamlessly transition to our next-gen platform and stay informed on new features and best practices.
• Lead decision-making forums with relevant stakeholders to establish best practices and ensure clear communication of these decisions to the community.
• Drive initiatives that help move the organization closer to its goal of being data-driven, such as educational workshops, events, and internal training programs.
Building and Nurturing the Data Community:
• Cultivate a strong, engaged data analytics community by promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts to contribute insights and materials for training, demos, case studies, and community events.
• Organize and facilitate community activities such as hackathons, webinars, workshops, and meetups to encourage collaboration and engagement around data-driven initiatives.
Promoting Data Literacy:
• Champion the importance of data literacy throughout the organization and advocate for its integration into all aspects of business decision-making.
• Develop impactful, easy-to-understand content in various formats (newsletters, presentations, videos, infographics, internal communications) to drive awareness and engagement within the data community.
Measuring Impact and Success:
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of community engagement and training effectiveness.
• Regularly evaluate progress, provide insights, and recommend improvements to optimize community initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in community or program management, or a data-related role with a focus on data-driven initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail, ensuring that all initiatives align with the larger organizational goals.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive decisions and execute programs.
• Experience organizing and executing successful community-building events, both virtual and in-person.
• A strong understanding of current technology trends, with an emphasis on data analytics and AI.
• Data-driven, with the ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative metrics to draw meaningful insights.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bonus Points:
• Experience leading or growing AI and data communities.
• A background in data analytics or AI, with proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
If you're eager to make an impact by fostering a data-centric culture and helping others harness the power of data to drive innovation, we'd love to hear from you!
