About the role
You already know it - electromobility is not an option but a definite must. At Volvo Group, it has become one of the fastest-growing development areas and the fact is that we are at the forefront of the industry. Of course, it requires qualified competence in, for example, analysis and simulation. That is where you come in. Right now, we are looking for a creative data analyst for our dynamic section, Verification, Simulation and Safety in electromobility. Together with the rest of the team, you will provide world-class solutions for electromobility systems and deliver customer values for Volvo business units such as trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine applications. Additional responsibilities are:
Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the entity - from sales and purchasing to component design
Understanding customer usage and performance of our products
Providing solutions throughout entire product life cycle
We are looking for you...
• with a passion for problem solving and a burning curiosity for our end-customers and their needs. Teamwork is close at heart, and you shoulder responsibilities with an "everything is possible" attitude. Your experience of simulation and analysis is strong, as is your skills of working in cross-functional teams. And of course - automotive or electrical system development is something highly familiar to you.
Requirements:
MSc or BSc degree from technical university
Experience in communicating analytics insights both verbally and written
Visualization tools e.g., MS Power BI
Problem solving skills using data driven methods e.g., machine learning
Statistical methods / Machine learning/ Data mining
