We are now looking for a D2C Channel Controller to join the D2C team within BA Europe APMEA. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting our efforts of driving the profitable growth of D2C as key channel for the future. You report to the CDI Business Controller and team up with several important stakeholders including the business controllers in central and local teams, owners of our key financial processes in the shared service center and IT teams. This role is placed within our Europe APMEA organization, but you will also work towards and collaborate with our European and Asian sales entities and global organizations.
There are many new skillsets and new ways of working both technically but more important cross functionally as we drive this direct channel with consumers.
You will, as D2C Channel Controller, make sure we drive profitable growth of Finished Goods, Aftermarket sales and Services and develop the necessary tools, processes and knowledge to successfully drive this business from a Controlling point of view.
Work together with the VP and Directors of D2C across all markets and shops. You will act as a true business partner to the D2C organization focused across all product lines and services.
You will provide Financial and Commercial support and visibility to the Business leaders while acting as a change manager within the Controlling and wider organization towards the Consumer Experience focus and Digital route to market strategy.
Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership, to deliver long-term sustainable profitable growth
Drive process from analysis to setting short-term goals to follow-ups and building long-term strategies and challenging the way we do business in the D2C channel.
Secure profitability visibility and recommendations around investments and business cases.
Support and business cases and drive models to grow and further establish our direct-to-consumer business.
Lead and continuously develop the planning process and finance model for the D2C business
Provide insights and take actions aiming to improve business performance and fact-based decision making
Provide frameworks, guidelines, methods, controls, processes and working methods to support business and connected stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient follow-up and compliance
Responsible from a controlling point of view for the Monthly Cluster Business calls as well as Weekly Forecasting/Weekly Beat Cluster calls.
Involved in monthly / quarterly closing activities ensuring the accuracy of the D2C P&L and budget.
Identify areas for organizational development as well as drive cost optimization efforts.

Qualifications:
Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar
Comprehensive experience from relevant field, i.e., business development and/or business/financial management and reporting from an international company/organization.
Commercial Finance experience, with a track record of driving sustainable results (i.e. EBIT growth, margin expansion) in a matrix organization.
