What you will be a part of
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.Business Unit Gripen Brazil within business area Saab Aeronautics is responsible for executing the Gripen Brazil contract, as well as related contracts and for follow-on business in the country. Gripen Brazil is a multi-billion contract with an execution time exceeding ten years, including delivery of a complete weapon system with 36 aircraft, as well as a large content of offset activities, the majority related to technology transfer. We are now looking for a person to fill the position as Customer Liaison within the business unit.



Your role
In your role as the Customer Liaison for Gripen Brazil you will plan, organize and manage customer related tasks and apply and develop the processes necessary to sustain and improve customer satisfaction. You will be part of the Brazilian program Business Unit working very close to the customer and the program management team. This role has a strong operational focus in many customer related aspects.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Managing tasks for contractual deliveries (reports, meetings, PMMs, etc)
• Serve as a customer conduit and responsible for communications with the customer
• Support the customer requirements without harming Saab 's interests
• Perform customer surveys as well as its analysis and actions
• Support to the BU team in terms of customer requirements and culture awareness
• Coordinate tasks with the BU team related to the customer
The Customer Liaison reports to the Chief of Staff for the Business Unit Gripen Brazil, but will have a strong and frequent interface to entire Gripen Brazil management and the customer.
The position includes travels national and international.

Your skills and experience
You have several years of work experience within a defense customer oriented commercial environment. For this specific Customer Liaison role, you are required to be fluent in Portuguese and have a awareness of the Brazilian culture.You have a solid personality and can act with integrity and credibility in your work. You are also responsive, honest and trustworthy when working with others.You probably have a commercial degree, or similar education level in business administration.
Strong working knowledge:

Knowledge in the Brazilian culture (laws, bureaucracy, etc)
Awareness of Brazilian Air Force structure and ways of working
Customer relations experience
Project management, corporate governance and quality management

Project management skills and experience
Results-oriented
Analytical and structured way of working
Presentation & pedagogic skills
Cultural awareness and ability to work across cultural barriers
Resilience and ability to overcome frustration

Excellent skills in English and Portuguese, verbal as well as in writing are required. As a condition of employment, you will be required to participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable Government security clearance(s). The position is based in Linköping.
