We Offer
In this position we offer an excellent opportunity to join our team of experienced Customer Experience Partners, where you will gain experience within both Sales and Customer Service.
We offer you an exciting job opportunity in an international, challenging business environment characterised by high pace and diversity. You will get to focus on creating valuable relationship with our current and new customers. This position will support the External Sales team to manage and grow assigned accounts in line with the organisational strategy, goals, policies and processes.
In this role, you will also gain industry knowledge, international experience, better communication skills and techniques relevant to customer service.

This vacant temporary position is located at the office at Mölndalsvägen, Gothenburg. Start date is preferably September 15th, 2014 and we estimate it to last until approximately mid September 2015.

Key Responsibilities
In this role the key responsibilites are:

• To deliver a positive customer experience for all customers and to ensure a smooth execution of the shipment lifecycle by working closely with the customer and internal teams
• Ensure all products and services are sold to the customer to maximise Safmairne profitability
• Be fully responsible for customer satisfaction and experience on interaction with customers
• Handle incoming customer service queries, issues, exception management.
• Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions.
• Act and communicate proactively and keep customers informed of any issues or changes in the booking.
• Address root causes and seek continuous improvements and constantly look for ways to improve work processes.
• Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards and share knowledge and best practices.
• Provide personalised service and build relationships with customers.
• Communicate service or rate changes, notable trends, policies and other relevant information to assigned accounts.
• Assist with processing price quotes and rate negotiations.

The candidate should preferably have a degree within shipping or other commercial field.
Previous shipping knowlegde is an advantage.

The candidate needs to be fluent (verbal and written) in English and Swedish. Knowledge of the Norwegian language is a plus.
