www.bellman.comBSAB is now looking for a new CTO to replace the current CTO who has been promoted and will take a new position in the company.
As CTO for Bellman & Symfon Hearing solutions AB, you report to the President for Bellman & Symfon Hearing solutions AB and you are member of the management team. As responsible for the Technical department, you are responsible "from A to Z". This means that you work closely with e.g. our sales team and our customers in the creation of ideas for future products. It also means that you are responsible for managing the engineering team to ensure that the agreed projects and products come out from the R&D process and the manufacturing according to set the targets.
The CTO position will in the future be stationed at our office in southern Mainland China. One of your very first assignments will therefore be to build a local organization of skilled and motivated engineers.
As CTO, you will have a key role in our future organization and the role will provide exciting opportunities; both in terms of forming a good team and in terms of developing outstanding Hearing solutions / products helping people with hearing problems to a better life.
Main areas of responsibility
• Responsible for the development process, including;
• To manage the creation-,evaluation-and pre-study of new product ideas.
• To prepare investment proposals for selected projects.
• To manage the R&D projects.
• To manage the production in Mainland China and to ensure that BSAB has the right manufacturing partners from a technical, commercial and ethical perspective.
• To document products according to the quality management system.
• To ensure that know-how and IP are well protected.
• Responsible for the production quality system and inspections.
• Responsible for technical after sales service.
• Responsible for continuously updating and improving the internal processes.
• Responsible for that the Technical organization is correctly managed and staffed in terms of number of staff as well as their competence, experience, motivation, commitment etc.
Required working experience
• 10+ years of experience from working as an engineer (HW and SW), including:
• Experience from working closely with customers to both understand user-and technical requirements and to suggest product- and system solutions.
• Experience from benchmarking and evaluating various technologies of interest and from evaluating competing solutions.
• 5+years of extensive and documented successful experience from Projectmanagement of R&D projects (electronic consumer products or medical devices with embedded software).
• 5+years of extensive and documented successful experience from managing a Technical team.

Fluent in Swedish and English.

Education
• M.Sc.E.E. or similar.
