In the past 6 years Klarna has branched out to Scandinavia and Europe. Being faced with rapid expansion we need even more competent and driven staff to help us on our way. This is why the risk department is currently looking for future stars!
Within the risk department the Reporting & Monitoring team?s responsibility is split into two parts; one part consists of following certain key risk indicators, the other part consists of project based work and ad-hoc analysis. Within this team you will constantly be challenged with new and exciting work tasks and the results will often play a vital role in Klarna?s decision making process.
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
• Maintaining existing reports and deliver results to concerned parties in order to improve the performance of different areas of the business.
• Perform analysis and ad-hoc investigations and present the results to all levels of the organization, ranging from the risk department, sales and marketing and all the way up to the board room.
• Constantly strive to develop data sources and its contents in order to ensure data quality
• Develop and design innovative reports to highlight areas of risk emerging due to new market conditions
• Get acquainted with new tools for handling large data sets, as well as exploring new solutions and techniques
The analysts we are looking for has a strong analytical mindset and is comfortable working with numbers. You need to be innovative and have the ability to see solutions where others see dead ends.
The ideal candidate has a background within economics, finance or Engineering. We always like to give talented people a shot and we accept junior applicants to - so even if you're not highly experienced you should apply.

Preferred additional experiences:
• SAS
• SQL
• Experience from consumer credit and e-commerce
