Not only are you taken through a tedious sign-up process, you?re also expected to trust the merchant and pay them before you even get to look at the merchandise. No wonder that only 9% of total commerce is done online: it?s just not easy enough.
Klarna is looking to solve that. The company was founded 6 years ago by three Swedish entrepreneurs and has been growing rapidly ever since, thanks to its offering. It lets customers pay only after getting their product, while guarding merchants from risk - making purchases simpler and safer for everyone while growing sales for merchants. This also drew one of the best (maybe THE best) VCs in the world - Sequoia - to invest in the company. Klarna has more than 550 employees worldwide, has processed more than 26.5 million transactions to date, has more than 5 million end consumer, 12,000 merchants and one hell of an Engineering shop in Stockholm.
Job Description
Today we are a team of 7 developers with big knowledge and experience within e-commerce solutions and two good product owners to guide us on our way forward. You will be a part of our well glued team to increase our testing to new levels.
We are looking for top-notch QA Tester who can work creatively to automate routine tests. Furthermore, you will automate tasks to just a single click of a button and join the development of Klarna future solutions and products. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle, from idea to implementation. You will join a team of highly skilled and talented people working together in agile development methodologies. You will the test expert guiding the team towards the high
quality product we aim to provide our customers with.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl, Php etc.).
• Training in and experience of testing methodologies.
• Sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills, excellent communication skills.
• A great team player.
• Get things DONE.
Experience we appreciate:
• Worked in an agile, test-driven software development environment.
