Your new role
As our new Country Workplace Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all workplace services for Ramboll in Sweden, collaborating closely with the Country Leadership Teams, Workplace Teams and other support function teams. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our sites while driving strategic initiatives across real estate planning, property management, and workplace services. You will act as the key link between the business and our facilities, ensuring spaces are safe, cost-effective, and aligned with organisational needs.
In Workplace Management, we focus on six key pillars: data analytics, workplace trends, financial management, strategic delivery, sustainability & ESG, business partnering & stakeholder engagement. These guiding themes ensure that our solutions are always backed up by data, in line with the newest trends, financially sound, with long-term impact, in line with our people's needs, and consistent with our sustainability goals.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Manage Ramboll's property and lease portfolio within Sweden.
Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and property strategy.
Oversee daily facilities management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Champion workplace health, safety, and compliance across all sites.
Embedding ESG principles and other sustainability practices to shape smarter, greener workplaces.
Develop, manage, and monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure cost efficiency and financial control.
Monitor workplace trends and ensure that we adopt best practices related to e.g. remote and hybrid working setups.
Leverage data analytics to develop and implement strategies that optimise workplace operations.
Manage vendors and contractors, tracking SLAs and KPIs to maintain performance standards.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
Some travel to local sites is to be expected (approximately 15-25 days per year).
About you
Min. 10 years of experience in a senior/leadership role within real estate management, facilities management, or a related field.
University Degree or equivalent within a related field.
Strong knowledge of leases and compliance requirements.
Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
Skilled in financial planning, including budgets, forecasts, and business case analysis.
A data-driven approach to workplace planning; reviewing trends and applying insights to support strategic decisions.
Knowledge of ESG and other sustainability frameworks and how they inform sustainable workplace strategies.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage senior stakeholders and drive workplace projects as a trusted advisor.
Excellent in both written and verbal communication - both in English and Swedish.
