We are now looking for a Controlling Professional to join the team of Brand Development & Innovation (BD&I) in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, your main responsibilities will be to work on the mid-long term financial strategies, supporting all the innovation projects with prospective financial cases to facilitate and support the go/no-go decision, and analyze and monitor the Profit & Loss within the International finance team. The brands you will be working with include Wasa ? and international brand however present and leader mainly in Nordic countries and Germany ? and Grancereale, which is a Italian bakery brand.
You are excpected to provide financial support to the business teams responsible for innovation and marketing activities for the brands, as well as supporting the Marketing and BD&I Management in the ongoing business tracking and evolution. On top of that approximately 40% of the role will be dedicated towards supporting the market controlling function; i.e, the sales, within retail and out of home businesses in the Nordic countries.
Key Accountabilities
Your main tasks will include monthly analysis 1. of Wasa P&L by market and category and to communicate corrective actions to Marketing, BD&I and Market Controlling Managers at European level and 2. of sales in retail and out of home and also communicate corrective actions to sales departments, the nordic marketing departments, the European controlling function as well as the Supply Chain organization.
You will conduct long-term trend analysis and support the design of a sustainable mid-long term financial profile for product categories such as Crisp bread, Soft Bread and others and partner up with cross functional business teams to provide finance support in innovation design and marketing activities for Wasa and Grancereale, with financial analysis before and after launch. You will also be responsible for overhead cost control for Wasa European functions (RnD, Finance, Marketing global) and Grancereale.
This is a permanent, full time position based in Stockholm, Sweden. A limited amount of travel is required to attend key meetings in the Italian HQ and to support at best the Grancereale multifunctional team.
About you
We are looking for someone with an academic degree within Business & Finance. You have at least 3 years of experience from similar positions within the FMCG industry and preferably from international settings. You are an advanced user of Excel and have also preferably good knowledge in the other MS Office programs, SAP and SAP BI. We believe you are very comfortable preparing and conducting management presentations. You have a strong business accumen and excellent analytical skills. You are fluent in Swedish and English.
Further to this you are positive, flexible and have a goal oriented attitude towards your targets. You have strong social skills and are always looking for creative solutions within your area of expertise.
