Provide centralized global support services for inventory valuation and closing enabling Group-wide standardized operating model and streamlined controlling processes across the company
Maintain and develop processes under own area of expertise
Accountabilities & responsibilities
Coordinate team efforts and make low risk decisions
Support projects to develop new or existing processes. Continuous development of reporting tools and system based on own experience as well as development requests from Business Controlling teams and OTK functions
Discussion partner for OTK functions and Business Controlling teams for inventory valuation and closing, functionalities and procedures
Ensure conformance with processes and schedules
Utilize system reports and knowledge of inventory activities to maintain accurate inventory records
Support Valuation & Closing monthly processes
Prepare monthly reports for Business Partners
Prepare and document evidences for Internal Control purposes
Review and analyze all changes to product conversions, deletions and additions to ensure consistency of IT systems
Support IT Controlling processes
Review and deliver ad-hoc analysis on an as needed basis
Background & Skills
University 1st degree/professional qualification in Finance, Economics or similar
Industry manufacturing experience 3 to 5 years
Strong coaching, interpersonal, networking & (English) communication skills, both written and oral
Expert knowledge in inventory valuation and production processes
Extensive knowledge of controlling systems and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional interface to work and interact effectively with various departments throughout the organization
Ability to work to extremely tight deadlines and drive for continuous improvement
Drive for continuous improvement and developing new concepts
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Travel may be required, less than 30%

Location
Flexible - at or close to Outokumpu's main European hubs (Helsinki or Tornio/Kemi, Finland; Krefeld, Germany; Avesta region, Sweden; Sheffield, U.K. and Vilnius, Lithuania).
