What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Saab Traffic Management (TM) serves marine and air traffic customers around the globe with advanced solutions that enable safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
In our Linköping office, TransponderTech Products, we are about 25 people with our own profit and loss responsibility. We are a small part of Saab working mainly in the civil market where we are market leading having customers world-wide. The department consists of enthusiastic software engineers, electrical engineers, systems engineers, product managers, project managers and support engineers. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, development, documentation, integration and support of our products. The product portfolio consists of AIS-transponders for ships and aircrafts as well as advanced navigation and presentation systems. The site includes all functions, from marketing and sales, to product development, production and logistics. The relationship between own working efforts and company results is very clear and many of us have daily customer contact.
Your role
We are currently in a very expansive phase and needs to strengthen our competences within documentation as well as configuration management. You will be participating in innovative R&D projects as well as keeping our current product portfolio up to date.
As a CM engineer you will be responsible for creating, distributing, collecting, storing and maintaining our documentation. You will be involved in all phases, from customer requirement analysis to product implementation and maintenance. To facilitate this you will work closely with colleagues across the department and act as point of contact to ensure that everyone is producing the necessary and correct documentation.
As the expert you must also keep up to date with the regulatory requirements and standards that are applicable for our products. Furthermore it is important that everyone has knowledge of what is required with reference to documentation and quality assurance. This means that you will be participating in training of our personnel.
Your skills and experience
You probably have a technical background, with a thorough interest for CM and high quality documentation. We believe that you have more than 5 years of work within the area.
We see that you have the following personal abilities:* Analytical, self-driven, flexible and result oriented* Capability of working independently as well as in small teams* Good verbal communication skills, Swedish and English.* Professional writing skills, English.
The following are meriting:* Experience from working with quality standards such as EN9100 and ISO9001* Knowledge in EASA Part 21 and Part 145* Leadership experience * Technical education on university level
