ClimateWell is a Stockholm-based company with 30 employees that has spent the last four years developing what many thought was impossible: a solar powered indoor climate system. To reach this ClimateWell has developed a system with build-in energy storage and industrialised the product to make it affordable and economically attractive.
There is today an unstoppable momentum for installation of comfort cooling (i.e. air conditioning) in family homes fuelled by the increased standard of living and the increasingly hot summers. For a single family, installation of an electrical air condition system increases the energy consumption by more than 50%! If we continue to meet the demand for indoor cooling through traditional electrical air conditioning systems, the overall energy consumption will increase, making the Kyoto commitments entirely unattainable.
ClimateWell has started its market launch with great momentum, and is rapidly building an installed base in southern Europe. Key challenges looking forward will be to raise awareness of this new technology and its unique capabilities; with the consumers, the politicians and the building industry.
ClimateWell was recently awarded "Technology pioneer" at the World Economic Forum in Davos and as a result, articles were published in TIME Magazine and Red Herring in December 2006.
Om jobbet Som konstruktör på avdelningen för Forskning och Utveckling kommer du att arbeta med hållfasthetssimuleringar, flödessimuleringar och 3D-CAD av våra koncept och produkter.
Vi söker en noggrann högskole- eller civilingenjör med minst 5 års yrkeserfarenhet av hållfasthetsberäkningar, simuleringar och 3D-CAD inom mekanikkonstruktion. Fördel är också om du har erfarenhet av flödesberäkningar och flödessimuleringar samt CAD (företaget använder SolidWorks). Det är även en fördel om du har intresse och förståelse för energi och värme- och kyl applikationer.
