hela Sverige We are currently looking for a Claims Analyst to an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity a 2-year contract starting as soon as possible with the possibility for an extension.

About the role:
As Customer claims analyst, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers ' lives.

Customer claims team consists of 10 claim analysts whose main mission is to ensure that all the bonus claims from customers, both contracted and non-contracted, are validated accurately and timely. Since Samsung is a dynamic company in a fast moving industry, there is constant needs to adapt the validation processes and tools based on the new demands from the market. We also have an ambition to automate the claim validation process as much as possible; therefore, the team drives various improvement projects related to claim validation process with internal and external stakeholders. The team belongs to Samsung 's Business Control group, supporting the group 's mission to optimize sales, find cost efficiency and improve profit.
What will this role achieve & what will your job scope be?
As a customer claims analyst your main responsibilities include processing claims and settlements accurately, efficiently and ensure timely payments for customer 's sales deduction cost. You will be handling specific accounts in which you will develop and maintain good customer relations, have reconciliations meetings when needed and proactively drive areas of improvement of claims process with customers.Analyze data and investigate claims to determine if an error has occurred in processing or adjudication of a claim. In addition, you will have the opportunity to drive process, and system improvements and be included in projects.
The key responsibilities include the following:
• Ensure accurate validation and efficient claims handling for your accounts
• Analyze accruals, balance reports, KPI reports, sales data (sell-in and sell-out) and other various data needed for claim operation
• Reconcile claims with customers, per claim and through periodic reconciliation process
• Raise any issues related to data accuracy which affects claim operation
• Support Business Control in maintaining accrual structure
• Following up on claims KPI such as claim validation lead time and backlog
• Support improving claims validation tools
• Drive or support various longer-term improvement projects with aim to improve claims operation both at Samsung and at customers
• Support monthly closing, reconciliations and audit questions related to sales deductions
• Develop and provide necessary reports to stakeholders
• Provide guidance to sales organization regarding claims validation process
What do we need for this role?
Qualifications Required:
• University degree in Business administration or Finance or equivalent
Experience:
• Work experience within Finance and/or accounting principles and practices, concepts and reporting of financial data (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Claims processer or equivalent to minimum of 2 years
• ERP experience, preferable from SAP FI (Finance and/or Accounting)
• Analytical experience
• Preferably experience from a global company
Skills:
• Office package, mainly advanced Excel
• Common accounting principles
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Critical thinking
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Time management
• Open-minded and Flexible
• Project management and collaboration skills
• Interested in systems
• Sales deduction system knowledge (advantage)
• Knowledge in other Nordic language (advantage)
