HVDC is looking for an experienced leader to develop our civil construction activities globally. Our annual civil construction activities today are valued at about 250 MUSD. Our ambitions are to develop an ABB way of delivering civil works globally using a cost efficient and high predictability world class standard. As a Manager for our civil construction office you will be responsible for developing our standards as well as our organization delivering the EPC civil scope.
The responsibility areas will include activities like basic design, detailed design, purchasing as well as construction, installation and site activities until handing over of the project to our Customer. The main challenge will be to define, implement and improve the ABB way to deliver a civil scope globally as well as together with your global team and colleagues develop the processes for a competitive predictable delivery process.

We are looking for a person with academic degree in Civil Engineering. You have at least ten years of managerial experience and preferably knowledge of delivering a civil scope globally. Proficiency in English is a requirement. Further, you enjoy being in a responsible role with good interpersonal skills and the interest and ability to build and maintain good relationships.
The role requires proven track record with similar experience, strong influencing skills across organizations and cultural boundaries as well as readiness to travel as required.
