As the Chief Product Owner, you will take a key position and be a passionate owner of consumer software for Avinode. You will be responsible for the success of the Avinode product family and will make the necessary decisions to support this success. Success means that the product does a great job for our users and members, and it benefits Avinode as an organization. The product owner should understand the user and customer needs, the business goals, and collaborate with the development team and the stakeholders.

Avinode's definition of the Chief Product Owner is the person who owns the strategic product decisions for the Avinode ecosystem of products. We believe in hypotheses, validated learnings, metrics, continuous release, customer led development within our strategic vision.

This is a new role and apart from owning the product strategy & execution, you will also be responsible for our product owner team of two based in Göteborg.

We are looking for a Chief Product Owner with real tangible experience of developing products in an agile environment. We are looking for a combination of hands on experience, demonstrable knowledge, ideally combined with formal training in an agile environment. We imagine that you are educated to degree level.

We want a person with strong communication skills and the ability to speak and write in English at a high level, as well as the capacity to build effective interpersonal relationships inside and outside of the company.

You will be a curious person, always wanting to improve both yourself and the situation that you find yourself in. You will need to and a strong inner drive and desire to take the responsibility for your agenda. You have good analytical capabilities and have the willingness to travel when required.
