We are now looking for a CPO, which is one of the most important positions at Benify. The CPO will be responsible for the business framework regarding our product development and will hold a key position when it comes to the company's strategic management.

When we started in 2004 we couldn't imagine how quickly we would grow. Now, 10 years later, we have offices in seven countries and in all countries outside Sweden we call ourselves Benify. To make everything even easier, we have now renamed Flexpay to Benify here in Sweden also, but everything else is just as usual! :)

ABOUT THE POSITION 

Our product development has been mainly customer-driven and thanks to our demanding customers we've been able to increase the complexity of the products with successful results. Your mission is to lead the product development in the right direction in order to execute the company's strategy but also to create new future opportunities that we haven't yet discovered. You will report directly to our strategy manager and a seat in the management team can be the next step for the right person.

As the CPO of Benify, you will construct the role from scratch. The product ownership is today decentralized in different apartments, primarily between sales, project management and IT, with different degrees of involvement from management level. Your task will be to form a plan for how the ownership shall be organized and controlled and then put this plan into action.

Examples of work tasks include:

• Create a product development plan for each product and country, both in a medium long and a longer perspective, taking into account the company's strategy and expected market development.
• Coordinate how to prioritize employee's suggestions on how to develop the products and communicate internally and externally how and why the products develop in the direction they do.
• Analyze current customer needs and future market development with the purpose to create selling products with high long-term customer value.
• Lead the daily work of product development, both cross-functionally in the company and in your own team that you eventually will be able to build (with the focus on overall product ownership in the Swedish and foreign markets)

WHO ARE YOU? 

The CPO holds an important and senior key position at Benify. We're looking for you who have successfully managed to build and lead a similar position at a dynamic and fast growing company or have had other similar experience of IT-based product development. Technical competence within the IT area and web-based systems is very important but it's equally important to have aptitude for market analyses and sales. Our goal is long-term growth with more than 30 % per year and all product development shall be made with this goal in mind.

You shall also:

• Have a university degree
• Have worked with IT and lead product development on a tactical, operational and strategic level for a long time.
• Be fluent in English, both written and oral. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage.
• Be an outgoing, analytical person with good self-esteem balanced with great humbleness.
• Have good interpersonal skills and be successful at "getting people onboard" but you also have the ability to stand up for your opinions in discussions.
• Be pragmatic and not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
