The role of CFO is a key role in the company's development and performance, and presents an exciting opportunity for a professional to be instrumental in our strategic development. As a high-growth company, listed on Nasdaq First North, there are many opportunities for internal growth and personal development.
About the job:
As CFO, you are responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths/weaknesses in the company's finances and overseeing all aspects of its financial success. You are seconding the CEO in all matters concerning strategy and financial management of Westpay.
As part of your team you have one person responsible for financial planning and analysis, and our outsourcing partner Grant Thornton, handling customary tasks such as salaries, accounting, payments, etc. Westpay has a newly established group structure with two international subsidiaries.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you are a member of the executive management team and secretary of the Board of Directors.
You will manage:
• Financial planning and reporting
• External bank contacts
• Investor Relations
• Stock market administration and regulatory compliance
• External financing activities
• Business intelligence with focus on financial and macro trends impacting our company
• Corporate development with focus on growth and profitability
In addition you will ensure that Westpay has robust and efficient processes around cybersecurity and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).
What you bring to the table:
• A solid and broad competence in finance
• Academic background, master level
• CFO experience is meritorious but not a requirement. Perhaps you have the experiences required for this job, but this could be your first CFO position
• Experience from working in a listed company.
• Experience from fast growing start-up and/or tech companies
• Curious and business driven person with entrepreneurial mindset
• Great communication and documentation skills. Ability to write documentation in a structured, easy-to-understand way.
• Fluency in English.
• Good presentation skills. Ability to speak fluently to staff, investors and partners - on all levels.
