The AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry Agro Applications Group operates globally and provides its customers with specialty polymers, surfactants, solvents and formulated solutions to enhance the performance of their products.
We are now looking for a chemist who will be part of the Agro Applications Technical Service and Development (TS&d) team, based in Stenungsund. Together with the team this role will help supporting the needs of its customers. This includes the in-house formulation and application testing of products to provide technical solutions to customers in the Agro market. The position is also responsible for the initiation, design and execution of incremental development projects addressing both customer and market needs.
Main responsibilities:
• In-house formulation and application testing of products and generate data to promote our products.
• Responsible for the initiation, design and execution of incremental development projects addressing both customer and market needs.
• Perform experiments in the lab; including designing, manufacturing and optimizing agrochemical formulations.
• Lead and/or be involved in incremental product developments projects.
• Live up to our high HSE standards and values.
- BSc in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Agro Sciences or experience in the development and formulation of agrochemical products is desirable.
• Proficient in experimental design methods are required.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Practical person who is hands-on the laboratory and possesses good interpersonal skills.
