hela Sverige Do you have an education in Chemistry and previous experience within the cosmetic field? Then we at Adecco Life Science are looking for you! One of our customers within the fashion and cosmetic industry is now looking for a Chemical Specialist. The position is a full-time consulting assignment placed in central Stockholm. Preferable start date is as soon as possible and the assignment will initially continue for a year.
The customer
Our customer in mind is constantly growing and is now looking for new Chemical Specialists within the field of cosmetic products. In the role as a Chemical Specialist you will have close contact with the production offices, but also with external parties like authorities and industry working groups. You will be apart of a team consisting of other specialists within i.e. chemistry, labeling and product safety.
The role
As a Chemical specialist you will be a part of the product development together with the buying team, supporting the production from a chemist's point of view.
You will work closely with the production offices, enabling the best product with the customers' standards, and also work on claim process together with buyers and production office. In this role it is important to support the buying organization on chemical related standards and requirements, especially when it comes to cosmetics, therefore it is important that you have earlier experience from working with cosmetic products.
Qualifications
You have a university degree in Chemistry or equivalent education.
You should have at least 2 years of relevant working experience within the cosmetic field and good knowledge of different materials within the cosmetic category. Have the ability to read and evaluate standards, legislation and newsletters from external parties.
As a person you are a good communicator, have great networking skills and is a team player. You are structured and organized and hold excellent written and verbal skills in English.
