We are now looking for a Chemical Development Engineer for a consulting assignment in Uppsala. Our customer is in an innovative company working with an exciting product. The assignment is expected to start in as soon as possible with the duration for one year. There is a good chance that the assignment will lead to a permanent position at the company.

Arbetsuppgifter
As Chemical Development Engineer you will be responsible for professional coordination, planning, execution and evaluation of electrolyte development, including development of current polymer electrolyte (additives, new composition, components, etc.) and development of new electrolytes.
Your responsibilities involve:
• Electrolyte development, including lab work
• Plan and manage all electrolyte tests
• Screening of new materials
• Electrolyte characterization and analysis
• Upscaling of electrolyte production
• To document the test results with traceability according to established procedures
• To deliver/report test results according to schedule
• Extracts data for analysis and participates in the analysis work.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
The right candidate has a relevant degree, preferably MSC in Technical engineering, and at least 1 year of experience with polymer chemistry in regulated laboratory environment. Experience from electrochemistry and/or Li-ion batteries is a plus. To be successful in the role you are a god problem solver with both theoretical and practical skills.
