hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for a Category Manager for Chemicals with experience from category management for a longer consultant assignment at a company in Stockholm. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible and is expected to last for at least a year.

The role
As Category Purchasing Manager you will manage the chemical and components category and be responsible for developing and managing a set of suppliers in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Main tasks:
Define/improve, sourcing strategies for the chemical and components category.
Evaluate suppliers' capabilities and negotiate best possible Quality Cost.
Deliver contractual conditions with suppliers to help achieve Best in Class competitiveness.
Work tightly with the company 's Purchasing Project and in full consistency with the projects' QCD objectives, including risk assessment and mitigation.
Drive continuous improvement.
Experience and competencies
The person we are looking for must have at least five years' experience from a similar role preferably within manufacturing industry. Furthermore, you are a skilled negotiator with experience in contract management and a solid knowledge in category management. An academic degree in a relevant field is meritorious. The role demands excellent communications skills in English. Additional proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
