In July one of our Category managers will go on parental leave, we are therefore looking for a new colleague to join the marketing team on a temporary contract for approximately 7 months, for a strong candidate there will be good possibilities to stay in the organization also after the temporary contract..
Scope of the position
• To implement tactical marketing plans for the category to ensure the delivery of the Nordic profit plan
• To drive marketing programmers that gain market share through growth in existing trade partners, new channels and new product initiatives
• To effectively manage the product portfolio to maximize our profitability and SKU performance
• To ensure that all activity is aligned to corporate strategy and meets the company financial and brand objectives
• To ensure that Whirlpool?s marketing approach is recognized as that of a market leading supplier, and contributes to the ambition of being the preferred supplier to its customer base
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Implementation of the product marketing plan for the Nordic customer base
• Management of range architecture and current SKU base to support the product marketing plan.
• On time implementation of product plans for the agreed channels
• Financial sign off and management of promotional plans in line with profit plan objectives ensuring optimal combination for customers and channels
• Monitoring of the pricing policy for agreed product groups
• Assess on a regular basis market, competitor?s products and trade activities
• Analysis of sales in and sales out performance at SKU level to develop range and promotional activity for the future
• Actively support account sales managers and deliver presentations for the external environment
• Primary point of contact and linkage to EMEA HQ brand team for activity planning & PIPO management
Coordinating the support needs of the category from the brand management team in terms of public relations and direct marketing activities, both through written media and exhibitions / trade shows as identified in the trade marketing plan.
What you need to succeed:
• Passion, marketing flair and creativity
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both the internal and external environment
• Strong analytical skills and high degree of competency in the use of MS Excel
• Minimum degree level or equivalent in relevant area
• Significant experience in marketing across a variety of relevant environments
• University degree within Marketing
• Min. 2 years commercial experience within marketing
• Self motivated and an organized approach to business
Placement: Stockholm, Alvik
Contract: Temp replacement 6 months
Start date: As soon as possible
