As a calculation engineer at UBPS you will have a key role in the product development of the battery pack and moduels for our upcoming completely electrified vehicles. Take this opportunity to join our team and the journey towards a sustainable future!
The role
Our group is comprised of 11 calculation engineers working within FEM and CFD respectively. As a FEM engineer you will calculate mechanical integrity of highly dynamic systems with the help of the finite element method. The daily work is mainly conducted within cross-functional teams including designers, calculation engineers and test engineers where you will:

Your profile
We put great focus on personal skills as well as how you apply your academic skills in your day to day work. This role suits you if you:
• Are an engaged team player and like to be challenged.
• Are analytical and like to deep dive into complex problems as well as having a focus on delivering results in high paced projects.
• Have a good ability to understand customer needs and how to tailor simulations to help daily product development.
• Are able to make your own decisions and are engaged and structured within a project.
• Have a degree in Mechanical engineering, Engineering physics or similar and experience in performing strength simulations
• Have experience in pre-processors Ansa and Hypermesh, and FE-solver Abaqus.
