We are looking for a Buyer for our Stockholm, Liljeholmen facility
Your Role
In this role you will work for our RCS Division (Rail Control Solutions) managing purchasing for projects. You will evaluate, select and maintain contracts and long term relationships and handle requests for quotations and negotiations with suppliers. You will also place and manage purchase orders.
A part of your responsibility will be to determine and manage the sourcing strategy within the region in alignment with the global commodity manager.
Your Challenges
• Represent procurement in projects and proactively drive collaboration with other departments.
• Drive Continuous improvements within the supply management .
• Realize cost savings.
Your Experience and Qualifications
To succeed in this role you need to fulfill the following criteria's:
• At least 3 years experience from a similar role.
• Project Management skills.
• Strong financial awareness and experience in cost structure analysis, cost control activities and target settings.
• Fluent English skills.
• Ability to travel in the Nordics, UK and Russia.
• It's an advantage if you have experience from and Practical understanding of JIT, Kaizen, 5S, Lean, etc.
As a person you need to be a good negotiator with a ?can do? attitude. You also have to be creative and ambitious and have a good intercultural understanding to help facilitate working with suppliers and internal interfaces in different countries.
