About the position
Perido is looking for a buyer for our client, a well-known and major international company in the automotive industry. The office is placed in Torslanda, Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
In this role, you will be the buyer for a specific category within the company. You will be managing products in the development, sourcing, industrialization and running production phase. A very exiting and social role where you will be working in a cross-functional team with other buyers, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and other departments. Your mutual goal is to increase value for the products, regarding quality, cost, and sustainability. Other tasks of yours:
Leading negotiations and building relationships with an international supplier base
Responsible for continuous improvement of the overall performance and competitiveness in the value chain
Handling order management and capacity assurance
Since the automotive industry and Electrification is changing rapidly, and the competitive environment and our company's strategy might change fast. Your qualifications

Requirements
Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent)
Experience from Commercial and/or Engineering work
Strong business acumen combined with high integrity
Good knowledge in MS Office
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Contract type and hours
Full time position. Consulting assignment until 2022-12-23, start 2022-02-07.
